DuckTales: Remastered App Reviews

This is a fine port of a classic game, but the game misleads you by having a "New Game" option at the beginning (which in the late 80s/90s typically lead to a "Load Game" option the next time you turned the game on.) and by messages throughout telling you that progress is being saved. This game is too long to complete in a single sitting and it is highly annoying have to start from scratch every time.

I like the game and it works fine BUT my 7 year old beat this game in a weekend. And at $9.99, I expected the app to last longer than that. He gets way more mileage out of free apps that are just as fun (just without the Disney licensing).

I will raise this review when the game is fixed to save progress within the mini games once you reach the office. I had over $200,000 coins disappear just because my son pressed the home button on the game. I had finished all the levels on the moon mini game and was just finishing the rat battle... I paused it to go to the bathroom and my son pressed the home button.... NOTHING saved!!!!! Money gone, all levels beat gone, have to start all over again.... I was so mad! I was going to unlock things with that money but now I have to start all over. FIX THIS!!!
