Pros and cons of DuckTales: Remastered app for iPhone and iPad

DuckTales: Remastered app good for

Me impressionei com o Castle of Ilusion, agora tenho o Ducktales! Incrível!!!!!!
Ive never played the 8-bit version, but this game is lovely! Great chars, great story, funny and everything a platformer needs to be memorable! Just a little sugestion: add resizeble and adjustable controls. Congratulations for this great platformer!
Great remake of a classic game. I had to deduct one star, because the link to buy the soundtrack is not working. (Its not available in the German iTunes Store.)
Excellent remake of a classic NES game. The remake stays true to the original and adds additional cutscenes with original character voices. Well worth the price. Quality games found on Xbox marketplace or NDS are going to be similarly priced to get them on iOS.
Dont listen anyone about saves during a level and other stupid things. Its an old school, its easy enough as well who needs that? Pathetic casual players...
One doesnt expect a remake to be exactly the same as the original. This one has graphics that are more like the cartoon, original voice actors from the series and levels that are closer to the original game than I was expecting to see. Theyve also addressed issues from the console versions like being able to skip cinematics (apparently you werent able to before). Theyve fleshed out the levels a bit too... I dont think they needed to do that but it doesnt hurt the game. Good stuff!

Some bad moments

I guess it could be enjoyable with a pad, but its really painful to play with the screen buttons. That said, nostalgia just wasnt enough for me, this game didnt age well, it looks boxy and is very very monotonous. Too bad, I had good memories of ducktales.
Game pauses all the time often confuses action key with pause. Has got severe effect on gamepaly. Graphics are veryvgood though. Attempted to play on 1st gen ipad mini
This is an OK remaster of a great classic game. There is no mid-level save function, the "3D" backgrounds seem dated, and it just doesnt recapture the original - Id almost rather pay for a direct port. Not worth 11.99.
this is a beautiful remaster of the classic NES game… But the controls just do not work well on my iPad mini. Its frustrating, because wayforwards other iOS platformer Shantae controls just fine for me. Even Disneys Mickey platformer is a breeze control-wise by comparison. its really too bad, because this is an awesome game otherwise.
Great game but controls on vines and what not make it almost unplayable at the end. Very frustrating.
Love the game I dont understand what you people are saying about the controller everything is smooth for me. I loved how it stayed true to the original game. But one problem the song ugh its a love hate relationship that theme song is so catchy....I was trying to do my math test but no all I could think about was DUCK TALKES WOO HOO....trying to play basketball but all I could think about was DUCK TALES WOO HOO.... That song will never leave u it is the most catchy tune from any tv show and I love/hate it so if u buy this great game be warned!
