Great game but controls on vines and what not make it almost unplayable at the end. Very frustrating.

Love the game I dont understand what you people are saying about the controller everything is smooth for me. I loved how it stayed true to the original game. But one problem the song ugh its a love hate relationship that theme song is so catchy....I was trying to do my math test but no all I could think about was DUCK TALKES WOO HOO....trying to play basketball but all I could think about was DUCK TALES WOO HOO.... That song will never leave u it is the most catchy tune from any tv show and I love/hate it so if u buy this great game be warned!
Please make them better
For the amount of money this game cost, Im a little let down. Every time I play the Transylvania level the game crashes and I have to start over. It happened once on the Amazon level too. The controls can be a pain at times. I would give five stars if this were fixed.
The visuals are great. The sound is amazing. The cutscenes are a little long, but theyre good. What makes me want to throw my phone is the controls. I never, NEVER, feel like its my fault when I fail. Its always the controls. I play many other iOS games with virtual controls, and Ive yet to come across controls as broken as this. Needs an update. Great game diminished by poor controls.
This game is a 5 star game, but ever since the update, whenever I turn my screen off in the middle of a level, instead of going to the pause screen when I turn it back on, it crashes and goes to my home screen, thus losing all of my progress in the level. Using an IPod 5th gen. Please fix or add save points.
Update: controls are much better. Timing is much better. Needs ability to save progress on the last level so you dont have to start from scratch every time. Ok game. Previous review. For $10 I expected a ton better game than purchased. Kept dropping stars while writing this review actually. Controls are bad and glitchy making one of the final levels virtually impossible. Not sure anyone played it before releasing the game. Levels are short and fast. Needs more gameplay for a $10 game. I have free games I have played for weeks whereas this game lasted about 5 hours total before I beat it. Avoid this game if you get buyers remorse easy. I dont generally but this one has made me want a refund of 90% of the cost. Fix the game and I will up my review to 5 stars.
I am stuck in the Himalayas at the very end when you are trying to get to the top to get the piece back to Launchpad? How do u get to the last rope to get to the top I am stuck there? Plz respond to this review like ASAP!!!!!!
The game itself is fun, but even after the tweaks they made recently, the controls are horrendous. Get the PC or console version if you really want, not this touchpad virtual controller nonsense that doesnt register the right input half the time.
Every time I play when Im about to beat a level or beat a level the game crashes back to the apple home screen. Save points would be good but being able to actually play a game that I effin paid for would be great. NOT HAPPY
Having $crooge and gang back in the beloved game of yesteryear is awesome. Game play is easy and true to what you would expect. Lines up nicely with Ducktales reboot coming to TV in 2016.
I think this is a good remastered version, and since you can skip cutscenes easily, I dont see much to complain about while playing it on my ipad mini w/retina. I am using a controller and I think thats probably the best way to play this with. I can see touch screen issues happening but I am having a blast even with the price of the game.
But I would like to be Gia mo duck please but the game is awesome
Id like it better if it were the NES version straight up however this game plays well and looks great. Same soundtrack so that A+
FFF@&@k YEA THIS GAME IS AWSOME
Platformer with bad controls. You can figure what kind of experience you can have with that. I thought this would be as good as Castle of Illusion and it was a deep disappointment.
Duck Tales "remastered" is Money well spent especially if you grew up on the original like I did. The gameplay/graphics couldnt be better. All reminiscent to the original. Nostalgic.
Theres a controller glitch that causes the left directional button to get stuck. This needs save points to transfer to the modern day. Playing twenty minutes to die and have to restart from the beginning is a bummer.
I remember sinking hours and hours into DuckTales when I had it on the OG GameBoy. Playing now, theres loads of memories. The only thing holding back 1 star from me is that the jump and attack controls do not switch on my MOGA MFi controller. They switch fine virtually, but on my physical controller, they will not. Other than that - I cant complain one bit. This is a fine port developed by WayForward (the same team that ported Shantae). Thanks for the sale!
A trip down memory lane. The graphics has been updated and according to toucharcade.com the makers got the whole original cast to do the voiceovers for all the cutscenes. You can read the glowing review. I must say if you like the 80s/90s genre of cartoon or video games then this is a classic. Its about 1GB installed. Totally worth the $1 sale instead of $10 normal price. Touch controls work fine. Ive passed about 75% of the game without any problems. You also can collect gems and use it to unlock character pics, music, etc of the game and cartoon. Has all the characters from the show. I got gold fever...
